Christmas Cookie Party

Mimi and Papaw had all the girls over to make Christmas cookies.  I know the girls had the greatest time with them and their cousins.  Mimi also had a Christmas bingo game set up, hot chocolate...etc.  She really knows how to throw a party!  Also...just so you know...Papaw baked all of the cookies himself.  Isn't he the best?

Pink Tree Christmas!!!

Every year, my mom comes over to help the girls decorate their very own pink Christmas trees in their bedrooms.  She buys each granddaughter a tree, and then always gets ornaments for that tree and helps them set them up.  Well, Papaw decided to come this year and the 2 of them helped make our girls SOOOOOO very happy by getting those trees put up!  Here are Mimi, Papaw, and my girls in action!

Christmas Program and Parties

I am trying to get us all caught up on Christmas BEFORE the new year starts and Blogger was giving me some trouble the other day.  But...all is well now and I wanted to post about the girls Christmas program and parties from school.  Only Jillian got to participate in the Christmas Program at school, but Jules was there watching her big sis.  Jillian did great and didn't seem nervous at all...like she usually does!  She knew every word and every hand motion...and she just sang her little heart out!  We were very proud of her.  Then after, both girls had parties at the same time, so I spent my time running all over that school.  NOT PRETTY...remember I am now 7 months pregnant and NOT attractive AT ALL!  Here are pictures from our fun day at school!

Jillian and her best buddy Ella at their party!  What great party moms they had...they had ice cream sundaes, hot chocolate, crafts, story time!  I know the girls had a great time!

Jillian's adorable class full of 3 girls and all boys.  They are all really precious though and I LOVE her class!  She really got so lucky this year!

Santa Through The Years

Here are picture of my girls getting to visit Santa Clause over the last five years.  I love to look back on how much they have grown each year!  There is one thing I have learned for sure after looking over these pictures from these years...I am the ABSOLUTE WORST photographer when it comes to Santa pictures.  I mean, what in the world.  I do okay the rest of the time...but these pictures are NOT good.

Ok, so Santa isn't actually in this one.  Both of the girls were sick off and on during the whole month of December, and we never made it over to see him.   I always knew I would regret that we missed...and I totally do!  But, here they are on Christmas morning for proof that Santa knew what they wanted...even if they were too sick to visit him that year!

What's In A Name

So, my blog sure has been neglected...along with any mention of our third baby.  Poor third child...I hope she knows she is loved just as much as the other two...even though I am so busy with the other two that I forget to mention her on my blog very often!  Well, today I am talking about our third girl.  We do have a name and we absolutely LOVE it.  We tried desperately to think of a name beginning with a "J".  I wasn't originally trying to name all my kids with a "J" name, but it just happened that way with the first two.  So, we really tried with the third also...mostly because so many people expected it.  In fact, I have been nervous to tell the name because I though I might disappoint some people when they find out that her name...DOES NOT...begin with a "J".  Our third girl is going to be named....

Paisley Kate Patterson

My mom has loved the name Paisley since Summer had Ansley 9 years ago.  She had thrown it out there everytime a girl was on the way.  I always loved it too...but I think Mom and I were the only ones!  Then this time, my friend Carolyn mentioned that she heard the name and liked it.  After that, it is all I could think about.  I liked no other name...and soon Seth was on board too.  He started to love it and we both just knew that no other name would fit.  We like Paisley because it is original, very feminine, and we think it fits with Jillian and Jules very well!  So...there you have it. You can now start calling her by her name...if you want!

Thanksgiving in Arkansas

Thanksgiving was almost 2 weeks ago, and as usual I am slow to getting pictures to the blog.  We spent 6 days away from home and up in Arkansas for a long trip with Seth's family.  CC had lots of activities planned for the girls since it was mostly cold outside that week. We went to Chuck E. Cheese, Eureka Springs, and several other places to keep my busy two girls entertained.  Our Thanksgiving day was spent at Aunt Lynn's house...where there is more than plenty to do.  She has horses, donkeys, miniature horses, gambling, food....etc., etc. The girls had a blast getting tons of attention from all of the adults.  I don't know what they will do if there are ever any other children around to compete with!   Here are some pictures of our COLD Arkansas Thanksgiving!

There is a really good A$$ joke here about Seth and these donkeys...but I can't quite come up with that perfect zinger.  Just know I was thinking about it.

Look at that adorable miniature horse.  They were supposed to get to ride but it was snowing/sleeting and SOOOO cold that day!

Jules learning to gamble.  Seth wants the girls to learn at an early age.  Nice.

We had a really fun week in Arkansas seeing all of the Arkansas family!  We are now home and back to life...which for me means counting down the days till our baby arrives.  I have a name too...and I will post it later this week!
