A Day at the Ballpark

Seth and I finally took the girls to see their very first Rangers game at The Ballpark in Arlington. It was hot and after a long day of school...so I wasn't quite sure how things wold work out. Well, the girls had a blast! We were up pretty high, so the wind was blowing and keeping us cool. It also wasn't very crowded, so the girls just got to run around, dance, eat, and have a ball! Jillian was yelling for the Rangers and everyone kept turning around and looking at the cutest little Ranger fan that ever lived! I took her out once to go to the bathroom and while we were in there she said she wanted to go back and watch The Razorbacks play some more! That's our girl...she knows our teams!!! Here are some pictures of the girls at their first live sporting event!

Field Day 2010

During the last week at school, Jillian's class had field day. The kids were moved around to a bunch of outdoor centers and had fun sweating it out in this crazy humidity!!! Here is Jillian on her field day.

Toddlers and Tiaras

Jillian just had her dance pictures last week, and the studio wanted the girls to wear mascara, blush, and lipstick. Now I get that this is a dance thing and I am fine with that. What I don't get are these crazy moms out there forcing their little girls into this nonsense all the time! Jillian was miserable and by the time class was over, her mascara had smeared everywhere and she looked like the morning-after crack wh*re! :) But, anyway...here are the pictures of Jillian with makeup at her dress rehearsal.

Are her lashes not ridiculous in mascara????

such a little poser!

She is so happy and proud of her outfit here!

Aren't they some cute bunnies????
This better be the only time Jillian is a bunny...if you know what I mean.

End of the Year Program 2010

Last week, Jillian and Jules had their end of the year program at Butterfly School. It was a Hawaiian theme and the kids were really cute!!! Jillian (in typical Jillian form) did great...did all the motions and sang all the songs. She was wonderful. Jules, however...not so much!

See a funny detail that I may have not mentioned before is that at school Jules is solemn and serious. She doesn't say a word. Her teachers ask me all the time if she talks. WHAT!!!??? That is SOOOOO not how Jules is at home. Anyone who knows Jules will tell you that she is a big talker with loads of spunk and personality. She started talking in sentences right after she turned one and has never stopped. Well, at Butterfly School, this is not the case. She is very reserved. I think it is like split personalities or something! So...back to the end of the year program. Jules stood there with this blank look on her face for the entire performance. It is sad that she doesn't show her true personality! Oh well....maybe next year she will break out of her shell at school. Here are the kids doing their thing!
