What Happens in Vegas...

Last weekend, My Dad took Seth and Layton to Vegas for a boys trip. (PS....I asked Seth to blog about his trip, but apparently, he is too cool to blog.) The boys just happened to pick the first weekend of March Madness and I am pretty sure they all had the time of their lives. Of course, when you travel with Dirk you get to stay in the Four Seasons on top of the Mandalay Bay!!! These boys better not get used to those accommodations!!! I think they spent the entire weekend playing Blackjack, betting on basketball, and even getting in a little pool time. I am not even sure that they even left the hotel. I know that Seth, Layton, and my Dad had a GREAT time together in Vegas, and I am so thankful for their close relationships!!!

Seth did make me so happy by agreeing to take the camera and even get a few pictures of their weekend.

I REALLY want to add a VERY VERY VERY funny quote from The Hangover...but since this is a family-friendly blog, I will have to leave it out. Bummer.

Cupcakes At Mimi's House

A couple of weeks ago, my mom and dad watched my girls for us so that Seth and I could have a kidless dinner. She took a couple of cute pictures and I really wanted to share them because they are so cute. This also gives me an opportunity to share with you Jules' latest obsession...the Band-aid. She LOVES Band-aids...and the weirdest part is that she ALWAYS wants one on her head. Every single day she asks for a Band-aid on her head. Who am I to discourage creativity in my child??? So, if you see us around town and Jules has a Band-aid on her head...don't feel sorry for her! She is fine!

Isn't she so stinkin cute???

The Birthday Bash

We had the GREATEST time up in Arkansas at Grandmother' 90th birthday! I know that Grandmother just had a great time at her party...and she should with well over 100 people there to help her celebrate her big day. It was a short trip for us driving up on Saturday and back on Sunday, but well worth it! We just love the time we get to spend with B-Pa, CC, Uncle Caleb and of course the whole Patterson/Bland Family! Here are just a few pictures that I was able to get at the party between running around after the two girls...

CC and Jules

Uncle Caleb is THE BEST UNCLE! He chased Jules around feeding her and giving her whatever she wanted. I know I have said it before, but the girls LOVE Uncle Caleb!!

Here is Grandmother with Aunt Meriam and B-Pa

And OF COURSE Grandmother would have NOTHING on her cake but Razorbacks! She is the biggest fan and has been cheering at games longer than anyone!!

Jillian and Delaney eating cake

Daddy feeding Baby Jules

This isn't a great picture, but I thought Jules looked so old...doesn't she??

Jillian, Abi, and Delaney

Trying unsuccessfully to get a picture of all the little girls

That was the extent of my pictures. Uncle Alan...will you send me some that you sent????

90 Is The New 50!!!

This weekend, Seth's Grandmother Lorraine turns 90!!! Grandmother (or Grand-Mama as Jillian calls her) is the most energetic, busy, and active woman that we know! I promise she is in better shape than we are!!! :) In fact, the very first Razorback game that Seth took me to was with Grandmother. Well, let me tell you that she stood for THE ENTIRE game...and Seth and I pretty much could not hang with her! Anyway, this weekend is her big celebration and we are so excited to go up and be a part of it.

Here is Grandmother with all of her GREAT granddaughters!
Jillian, Jules, Ella, and Delaney

Jillian and Delaney are just a few months apart and they had THE BEST time together! They are both into the same things...pink, purses, princesses, etc. I know that Jillian is very excited to see her cousin again this weekend!

Aren't they precious??

Here is Seth, the baby charmer! I swear, I have been loving on babies my whole life and Seth just picked up the hobby when we had one of our own! Now, EVERY baby wants him and NOT me! He just has that youthful loving touch or something! Ella was loving Seth...which of course sent his MAIN baby into a fit of jealousy...causing him to balance both the babes!
