School Is About To Be In Session...

...and we are ready to go. Everything has been monogrammed
and prepared and both girls are starting on Tuesday.
And so am I.
That is right...I am a working mother as of this Tuesday. I was offered a job at Jillian's preschool to teach 3 year olds and I took it. I figured why not since we are home a lot just looking for something to do. Plus I get a 75% break on tuition...which is huge (I save $300 a month). And I will make a nice little chunk of change every month on top of that which is mine to play with as I wish.
My biggest regret so far is that I REALLY hate putting Jules in so young. I didn't put Jillian in school until after she had turned 2 and Jules will just be about 17 months. I am feeling major guilt about that and could tear up everytime I think about it. I have been reassured many times by Seth, Summer, and my Mom that really it is just 5 hours a day for 2 days out of the whole week. I still will have MWF of being home with both of them. So, I am trying to just look on the bright side of the situation. Also, I hear the best things about her 2 teachers and that the head teacher really loves these babies and mothers them. They have already met Jules since I have been up at the school so much getting my room together...and they seem to love her already! Jules is really sweet and flirty and she is always teacher's pet (VBS, Church, etc.) so I am hoping for the same here! :)
I will be teaching 2 day 3's, which is what Jillian will be in. I love that I will know exactly what she is learning and doing every day! She will have the other 2 day teacher, Ms. Cheryl...and she already LOVES Ms. Cheryl. Macy had her a few years ago and we know she is great. Plus, I have been working with her preparing for the year, and I just know that Jillian is going to have a great year with her.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo...that is that. I am a working mom...sort of! I had the best time fixing up my room and decorating....and I think it looks great. Now the hard part is the actual teaching. I have no idea what I'm doing there, so wish me luck! :)
