In early June, my dad's side of the family had a family reunion. Well, it wasn't the best time for us to go with us moving and all ( I know...enough already with the moving sob stories!), but I really wanted someone there to represent my dad and my grandfather! So, Seth stayed behind to take care of our house, and the girls and I tagged along with my parents. My kids SUCK in the car (and I know this) and I don't know why I always give them the benefit of the doubt...but i mistakenly did. Sorry mom and dad! I have now learned to just always take my own car so that no one else is in misery! :)
Anyway, the girls actually did amazing while we were there. The family met in this mansion in Tulsa, OK and there was tons of food and family. There just wasn't a lot of kid stuff to do. But my girls really did great entertaining themselves, and I was proud of that. I am pretty sure they were the hit of the party too, because they were the only kiddos besides a couple little boys that were there every once in a while.
The most important thing is that I really wanted to see my grandparents. I don't get to see them much and I know it warms their hearts to get to spend time with us. So, that was my motivation to go and I know it was well worth it. The funniest thing though is that Jillian thought this huge mansion was Great-Memaw's house. In fact she keeps telling stories from the weekend and referring to when we went to Great-Memaw's house! Ha Ha Ha! I hope she isn't disappointed when we actually visit my grandparent's in their modest little house in Louisiana this Summer! :)

This little boy was named Dylan. I don't even think we are directly related to him in any way...the son of someone's step daughter or something. Anyways, Jillian was SMITTEN with this boy. She would look for him and flirt with him when he was there. It was hilarious! She kept asking me where was her boyfriend! HA! Only Jillian goes to family reunions to pick up boys! (She does have 50% Arkansas in her you know!!!!!)
And finally...here is Jules NOT sleeping in a crib for the first time. I thought she would be so tired that she would just pass out. Again...what was I thinking? The freedom was too much for the girl and she wanted to party till daylight! After FINALLY getting her down, she looked so sweet and peaceful!
