Not So...Happy Easter!
Here is Jillian's second encounter with The Easter Bunny. It went about as well as I thought it would! She instantly grew tense with fear when we approached the EB's "house" at the mall! She had a death grip on my clothes and was practically ripping my shirt off as I forced her to sit in his lap for all of 45 seconds while this lovely picture was snapped! I do love a "crying baby with the Easter Bunny/Santa Clause" picture! They are just so funny! As soon as I picked her up, she is waving Bye to the EB and saying thank you to him! She really does love him...she just doesn't want to be too close!

Matching Outfits
Ever since I found out that Baby 2 is a girl, I have been crazy about matching outfits. I remember growing up and my mom making Summer and I dress alike and I am sure that I HATED it. I KNOW Summer hated wearing matching splatter-painted t-shirts at Disney World when she was in the 8th grade...but I will let her blog about that memory! Anyway, here on the other side of things...I can see why mothers can go nuts! It is so much fun to match little girl clothes! I have really tried to restrain myself in buying things...so I have only bought a few. Instead, I have decided to make a bunch of onesies. I have not learned to sew yet, but I really want to. So instead, I did things the easy way and ironed on things and used fabric glue! It is so much fun and so much cheaper than buying a ton of clothes.
Here are some pictures of my latest obsession...matching clothes!
Obviously, I did not make these bathing suits. I got them for Jillian's 2nd birthday party in June...she is having a LadyBug themed swimming party and this is what J and Baby 2 will be wearing!
I did not make these either...ordered them on eBay. They are the Big Sister/Baby Sister outfits that the little Misses will be wearing as soon as Baby 2 enters this world. You can click and make them bigger...they have their names on them.
The rest of these I made...they are pretty fun...
We HAVE to have matching Razorback outfits...these will be nice just in time for football season to be rolling around!

Jillian...The Big Sister
Yesterday, Jillian and I got outside to take some more pictures for Granny. Pictures of Jillian are worth more than all the money in the world to Granny...and we want to make sure and send our love to her since we can't visit. I actually got a good face shot (see above)...which makes me very happy because of how NOT often Jillian will look at me with the camera!
Not so sure about that gravel feeling...
A birdie...
I love this picture...so happy to be outside!
Run Forrest...
By the way...I am officially having Baby 2 on April 22nd. That is only 5 weeks and a couple days to go...so excited!

Snow Day
On Thursday, we got hit pretty hard with the most random snow day! I have a hard time after Christmas every year, because I feel like it should automatically be Spring...however, that is obviously not the case. MARCH...now that REALLY should be Spring. We have gone all winter long without a drop of snow/sleet and it decides to hit in the middle of March...what in the world? So, I had to take Jillian out in it because this is the first year that she would even care about what she saw!
We were quite a site, the two of us...an 8 months pregnant lady chasing around a 20 month old trying hard to get that perfect picture! Someone SHOULD have probably gotten a picture of me...but thank goodness that didn't happen. Jillian doesn't even have a big winter coat because we really don't need it...so she is just wearing layers upon layers in these pictures...don't worry Mimi and CC...she was very warm!
After we came in, she DID NOT want to be inside. She followed me around everywhere carrying her hat and mittens and coat. She wanted them all back on and ended up just wearing them around the house for a while!
Here are some pictures from the morning before the snow hit. I was trying to get a couple of cute pictures to send to Seth's Granny...and Jillian looked really cool in her jean skirt!
She loves the cold hitting her or the wind blowing in her face...it makes her laugh every time!
I think she looks really old here....boo hoo!

Happy Anniversary!
Today my parents celebrate their 32nd anniversary! I think this picture is absolutely the coolest...from my dad's platforms and black socks (apparently they say that NO ONE wore white socks back then), to the hairdos...they just look so young and happy here! Don't my parents look hot in this picture!
Happy Anniversary to my Mom and Dad!!!

All I want to know is, what is up with the fake bird cage???

Granny

Granny and Jillian at 5 months old
Jillian's Great-Granny and Seth's Granny just got some bad news that she has cancer. We are all very sad to hear this news since Granny is about the most loving and caring lady I have ever met. Seth has always been extremely close with Granny and this news has really hit him hard. Granny LOVES her kids, grandkids, and great grandbaby with all of her heart...I think they are her whole life and she tells us that she thinks about Jillian all day long. She ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS has gifts for everyone every time she sees them...even my sister's girls that she isn't technically related to. Anyway, I just wanted to post a little something about Granny and ask that you keep her in your prayers. We want Granny to be strong and in NO pain at all!!!
