End of The Year Program and Pre-K Graduation
Last week at school, was our End of The Year Program and also the graduation for the Pre-K kids. Both girls did so good in their program and participated in every song and dance move! Jules is so shy at school, so I was shocked that she was so into it! She was the cutest little ladybug in the 2's class. Jillian's class sang some really cute songs too and Jillian looked like she was having a ball with all of her friends. I just adore our preschool so much and love that the girls go to such a great school with such wonderful people.
So, after the program was the graduation for all the pre-k kids who will be leaving preschool. This means that my big girl Jillian has graduated and is now ready to move on to Kindegarten. I have such mixed emotions about her heading into school. She is really smart and will do so good there, but I am really sad about her being gone 5 days a week! I know she will enjoy it so much, but I am REALLY going to miss her. I know every parent struggles when their first goes off to school, so hopefully I am not a freak! I really could tear up at any moment when I think of her heading into that Elementary School on the first day. I plan to wear sunglasses that whole morning...HA! But...more on that later.
Here are some pictures from the program. My Canon Rebel is acting up, so the only camera I have right now is my tiny canon powershot...and it just isn't great. All my pictures are pretty blurry, and that makes me REAL sad. Hopefully I will be getting a new camera VERY soon!

The Baby Smiles
I started looking for Paisley to smile around 5 weeks. Well, I kept waiting and waiting. She gave a couple of quick ones around 6 weeks, but not much and certainly not often. Well, finally around 8 weeks old she started giving them out a lot more. I finally was able to catch one on camera this week. Here is my pretty girl with her pretty smile!
Here she is in her favorite seat...The Papasan...with her favorite new baby doll!
Ok, I have removed the paci...is she going to smile or start screaming. It could easily go both ways.
wait for it...
wait for it...
wait for it...
There it is! Success! She sure does make me happy when she smiles!
Now, I'm just waiting on some giggles!

Mothers Day 2011
I had a great mother's day yesterday! First of all, we went to church and Paisley actually let me sit through the whole service while she slept in my arms. This was a gift all in itself! I have spent the last few weeks in the cry room with a crying baby. I even got to take communion again after many weeks of missing out! What a mother's day treat!
After church, we went to Boca for a family-style Italian Mother's day lunch. It was a great time! The girls were good, the food was yummy, and we had a great time together as a family. Summer and I (missing KK) got to celebrate what a WONDERFUL mother we have with our Mom! We are so lucky to be so close with our mom and blessed for the great mother she has been to us and continues to be!
When we got home, the girls gave me their gifts. Each girl picked out a gift certificate. Jillian picked out Itunes and Jules picked out Subway! What a treat...I love both of those places. I also got a spa pedicure gift card to go along with it, which I am sure includes the keeping of all 3 girls so that I can go in peace! Perhaps the best gift of all was the fact that Seth let me take a nap with the baby. While I was sleeping, he vacuumed the whole downstairs and cleaned all of the wood floors. He even threw in a couple loads of laundry too. Then he took the girls to Lowe's so that Baby and I could sleep in peace! It was wonderful! When he returned, we watched the recorded Mavs game and watched them destroy the Lakers! So much fun...GO MAVS!!!!

Muffins With Mom
This year, I was lucky enough to go to Muffins With Mom twice! The pre-k had theirs on Wednesday, and the 2's class had theirs on Thursday. It was quite a muffin-packed week! Both girls were so excited about Muffins with Mom and were talking about it all week. They couldn't wait to show me the gifts they had been working on and to have me eat with them at school. Jillian even vetoed the outfit I had picked out on her day because she wanted to wear her "most beautiful dress for Muffins with Mom!" that she picked out herself. Here are some pictures of our really fun couple of days at school!

Jules' Third Birthday Party
Here is the birthday girl before school on the day we celebrated her birthday there. She was so excited to wear this dress that Mimi got her.
This year Jules' birthday fell on Good Friday. I planned her party for that Friday since I assumed most kids would have Easter Egg Hunts at church on that Saturday. So, we decided to get a bounce house in our back yard and have it there. I really DON'T know what I was thinking. I really like to throw a good kids party with a lot of attention to detail. Well, this year, I just couldn't pull it off! Besides having a 4 year old, 3 year old, and an 8 week old to take care of...I had just had my whole house painted, a gate put into our backyard, and I am still doing a little work for our preschool. I just was so busy the entire month of April that I really slacked in the party planning process. I didn't even know what Jules was going to wear until the night before...and I usually plan the whole party around that detail!
Anyways, the crazy outside party started off with us forgetting to turn our water sprinklers off the night before. So, we woke up to a wet yard, wet play house, an wet chairs. I also had our kiddie outdoor kitchen and grill set up with food to play with. ALL WET! Seth did wipe everything down, but the grass was so wet and muddy. Then, the wind was so strong that my table of food had to be moved out of the line of fire and right into the walkway to the outside. It ended up appearing to be one crazy mess! But, the most important thing is that Jules had fun...and she sure did! We had grilled hot dogs, cheetos, chips, watermelon, and grapes. All of her favorites! And then of course cake and ice cream too! As wild and messy as the party seemed, I think the kids had fun. I also hardly got any pictures since I was running around trying to make sure that all the mommies weren't mad at me for the muddy mess! So, here are the few that I did get!
